There is nothing intrinsically difficult about using YouTube to send targeted traffic to your various offers. Yes, at this point you need to approach things a little differently since Google bought them and did their usual dances. Millions of online marketers have some idea about video marketing, but who knows why they do not take advantage of it. If you want to do things smarter, then we are in business today.

The title of your video is very important for grabbing the attention of people, and that is what you want to do. When you create a compelling title, then that obviously serves to help your video stand-out from the rest.

If you have great videos and your titles reel in the viewers, then that is how you can build-up your YouTube channel. Before you make any video, have a keyword phrase in mind that can be used in the title because that is how the video will be found. When you optimize a static site or blog page, you can think of the process as being the same.

You can do an effective video in possibly three minutes, but make sure you are offering solid info if you make it five or six minutes. If all your videos are long, and especially not too compelling, then you will have some difficulties. If you are ever in doubt, ask other people to view your videos and let you know if they are too long or whatever. Or, you can make longer videos, of about five minutes, and see if people think they are too long - they will tell you. It all just depends on you, and there is absolutely nothing holding you back from doing almost anything you want in terms of length or appropriate content.

There are basically two main places for promotions, on YouTube and then externally such as search engines and your own site. Then again we have always told people to use as much marketing diversity as possible because you never want to rely on only one source of traffic. However, in addition to Google you should definitely spend quality time getting exposure at Facebook.

In the end, each and every video that you upload on YouTube has the potential to make it big - so make sure you never ignore anything that may help you find long term success.
