Electronic cigarettes are becoming extremely loved among smokers all across the nation. People are using them just about everywhere because men and women are prepared to relax their no smoking rules since electronic cigarettes don't have any type of second hand smoke or any of the horrible odor that is associated with cigarettes. There are some restaurants that are fine with their customers smoking electronic cigarettes. There are businesses that provide their clients to smoke electronic cigarettes. Still, there are not a whole lot of businesses that permit their employees to use electronic cigarettes.
However, there is a plethora of arguments out there that say if businesses allowed for their employees to smoke electronic cigarettes that it will actually boost productivity. This may sound like a somewhat odd theory, but it is one that some businesses across the country are looking at. The argument for using electronic cigarettes in the work place is a compelling one. Here are some of the points to that argument.
The first and most widely cited part of that argument is that if you were to allow employees to smoke electronic cigarettes at work that it may be a major boost to the productivity of that work environment. Think of it in terms of an employee's mind set. If you work for eight hours and just have two five minute breaks to get in a smoke, then it will drive you crazy day long. However, if you are allowed to use an electronic cigarette, then that cuts down the stress of the waiting period, which suggests your mind is off of wanting to smoke, which implies you can concentrate on the job you have to get done.
Another argument is that, by allowing your staff members to smoke electronic cigarettes, you would reduce the cigarette smell in that work place, dependent on where the smoke break occurs. Many businesses will have a room devoted to allowing their employees to smoke. If you put nothing but smokers in that room, you are abruptly spending more cash trying to make that room have a fragrant odor and you are wasting a room that work could be carried out in. If you've your employees smoke outside, then anyone that drives by will simply see a bunch of smokers standing outside, and that isn't a specially inviting sight.
Since electronic cigarettes don't have any odor, that suggests that they will not be a nuisance in the place of work. You will be in a position to appease your staff members without forcing them outside where they feel alienated, or putting them in a room that just wastes space and kills productivity. It is a positive and a positive instead of following up a positive with a negative.
Obviously not all business could provide their employees to use electronic cigarettes while on the job. You will not see waiters using one while serving customers before to long. But offices are one of the many sorts of work places that would benefit from allowing the staff members to use electronic cigarettes.
